Pulse actions and who knows what

Plan what you’ll do about a Pulse result, ask Mello who knows about a topic, and praise a coworker without leaving Shuffl.

Turn a Pulse result into an action

When a Pulse question closes, admins get the result with Mello’s read on it. From any result you can plan an action with an owner and a due date, and tell people once what you’re changing. The Actions tab shows what’s past due and whether the score moved the next time the question was asked.

Mello suggests the next Pulse questions

With AI analysis on, Mello proposes Pulse questions each week from your recent results, each with a one-line reason such as a score that fell. It flags wording that pushes people toward an answer or touches a sensitive topic. Nothing is asked until someone approves it on the Questions tab or from Slack.

Find out who knows about something

Ask Mello who knows about payments, SCIM or anything else, and it names coworkers from what they share on their profiles, with a link to each one. Introduce me drafts a short hello you can send them. Type a topic in ⌘K to find the same people.

Praise a coworker from their profile

Choose Praise on anyone’s profile and the composer opens with them already picked. Say what they did, tag a company value and check how it will look. Shuffl posts it in your praise channel for you.

HR requests sorted by category

Mello files each HR request under a category, and that category’s owner hears about it. Sensitive categories, like employee relations, open only for the people you name. You set a response target in business days. When you close a request, you note whether an article answered it or one is needed, and Mello can draft the missing one from your reply.

See who can use Shuffl, and invite everyone at once

People now shows whether each person is active in Shuffl, invited or not invited yet. Invite one person from their row, several at once, or everyone who hasn’t had an invite in one step.

Companies and workspaces

Keep your company’s sign-in and administration together, with separate workspaces when you need them.

One company, room for more workspaces

Company settings now holds company members, sign-in, email domains, directory provisioning, Slack and billing. Each workspace keeps its own People, Knowledge, HR and programs. Company owners and administrators can add workspaces and choose a default. The workspace picker stays within your company. Switch companies, create another or open Company settings from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Owners can delete a company with all its workspaces and restore it within 30 days.

Home, Praise and Celebrations

Employees get a Home page, praise and profiles have more room, and HR can run birthdays, work anniversaries and eNPS from Shuffl.

A Home page for everyone at work

Employees now open Shuffl on Home. Today’s Pulse question, recent praise, new hires and news about the people they know sit on one page, with Ask Mello at the top. On a phone, the tabs people use most stay pinned to the bottom of the screen.

Praise has its own place

Praise moved out of Pulse and into its own place in the menu. Shuffl picks up praise posted in your Slack praise channel, and Mello reacts with an emoji so people can see it was counted. Reactions from coworkers are counted too.

Profiles people want to fill in

Profiles now have a cover, big quick stats, who someone reports to and their birthday. Mello can draft your bio for you to check, you can make a profile photo with AI, and View as shows your profile the way a coworker sees it.

Write your company values with AI

Company values is now a Knowledge page. Start from values published by companies like Netflix, Patagonia and HubSpot, or press Write with AI for a first draft. An approver still signs it off before anyone sees it, and once it’s published, Praise uses the same values.

Birthdays and work anniversaries, shared only with a yes

Turn on birthdays and work anniversaries separately, each with its own channel, message and send time. A week before someone’s day, Mello asks them in Slack whether to share it. Nothing is posted without a yes, and coworkers can add a note in the thread.

eNPS in Pulse

Pulse can ask the standard eNPS question, how likely you are to recommend working here on a scale of 0 to 10, on its own schedule. It’s quarterly by default. Insights shows the score, how it splits into promoters, passives and detractors, and how it has moved. As with every Pulse answer, results stay hidden until enough people have responded.

Templates to start from, with pictures

Communities and Badges now open on a gallery of starters, like a book club, a fitness group or a parents and caregivers group, each with its own illustration. The same drawings appear on the templates in Knowledge, Connections, Onboarding, Pulse and Celebrations, so an empty page shows people where to begin.
