Why it matters

Culture gets lost as you grow

Belonging is why people stay, and it rarely happens by accident once a company is remote or growing fast.

  1. People don’t find their people

A new hire has no idea who else runs, has kids or speaks Portuguese. Remote teams never bump into each other.

  2. Big moments fade

The launch everyone pulled together for is an archived channel by next quarter. Nobody new knows it happened.

  3. Groups are hard to find

Resource groups live in a private channel nobody can find, run by someone who left last year.

Badges

Proof you were there

Make a badge for the migration, the launch week or the first beta, and everyone who was there keeps it on their profile. New people see the history, and the people who lived it get credit.

  • Claim codes for events. Share a code at the offsite or the launch party. People claim it in seconds.
  • Given or requested. Owners give a badge with a reason, or approve people who ask for it.
  • Made by employees. Anyone can make one. Admins can hide any that don’t fit.

Communities

Find your people in week one

Clubs, offices, skills and resource groups each get a page anyone can browse. A new hire can join three on day one and be in the right Slack channels by lunch.

  • Linked to Slack channels. Joining in Shuffl sends the channel invite, and people who join in Slack appear in Shuffl.
  • Private when it needs to be. In a resource group, members choose whether they’re listed. The count stays visible.

For HR

Not another thing HR runs

HR doesn’t have to organize every club or remember every milestone.

  • Run by members

    Not another thing HR runs

Several owners and moderators per group, so it survives when one person leaves.

  • Automatic

    Milestones, marked

Work anniversaries at 1, 3, 5 and 10 years, awarded without anyone remembering.

  • Connections

    Credit for reaching out

Meeting 10, 25 and 50 coworkers through introductions earns a badge too.

Culture on autopilot

Belonging that grows by itself

Every group and badge keeps count, so belonging builds on itself.

  1. Shuffl measures it

Every community shows its members, and every badge who holds it.

  2. Owners keep it going

Owners welcome new members and mark the next big moment. Milestone badges give themselves.

  3. Every moment adds up

New hires see the history on day one, and join the next chapter.
